This seven-day photography tour is built around the final day of the Bengali year and the beginning of the new Bengali year. The journey begins with the historic and working landscapes of Dhaka before moving into the heart of Munshiganj for the spectacular Lal Kach Festival.
Lal Kach is a traditional folk celebration where participants paint their bodies red and perform rhythmic dances accompanied by traditional drums. The following day is Pohela Boishakh—the first day of the Bengali year—when the country comes alive with processions, cultural performances, traditional clothing, music, and fairs.
Alongside these two major cultural experiences, the tour includes Buriganga River life, shipyards, historic Dhaka, brickfields, railway photography, colourful textile-drying areas, plastic recycling, and the traditional rice-processing landscapes of Brahmanbaria with Photo Tour Bangla.
Arrive in Dhaka, check in at the hotel, and begin exploring Old Dhaka’s streets, Ahsan Manzil, Buriganga riverside, and traditional boat workers to understand the visual rhythm of Dhaka.
