Meet Your Guide – Istiyak Ahamed Srabon
Photographer | Visual Storyteller | Tour Guide
Istiyak Ahamed Srabon is a Bangladeshi photographer, visual storyteller, and photography tour guide who has been passionately documenting the soul of his country through powerful imagery and immersive travel experiences. As the founder of Photo Tour Bangla, he curates exclusive photography journeys for international photographers, filmmakers, and researchers, offering deep access to Bangladesh’s hidden stories — from shipbreaking yards and brick kilns to vibrant street life, rural traditions, and recycling industries.
Srabon works as a freelance photojournalist with Solent News (UK) and Zuma Press (UK), with his works published across international platforms including CCTV Asia Pacific, CRI Bangla, K.ru, and a double-page feature in VSD Magazine (France).
Currently, Srabon is pursuing his B.A. (Hons) in Film & Media Studies at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Bangladesh. Alongside his academic journey, he continues to inspire the next generation of photographers by teaching camera fundamentals and visual media basics.
