Absolutely. While like any country it has its challenges, Bangladesh is known for its incredibly warm and hospitable people. Violent crime against tourists is extremely rare. Our local guides are experts at navigating their home cities and regions, ensuring you are always safe, comfortable, and respected. We prioritize your well-being above all else.
2. What is the best time of year to visit for photography?
The best time to visit is during the dry, cool season from October to March. The weather is pleasant, the light is beautiful, and it’s ideal for travel.
However, the monsoon season (June to late-August), which it is now, offers its own unique magic. This is when the country is at its most lush and green, with dramatic skies and powerful rivers, creating truly spectacular photographic opportunities for the more adventurous traveler.
3. What kind of clothing should I wear?
Bangladesh is a conservative country, so modest dress is recommended, especially for women. We suggest lightweight, loose-fitting clothing that covers your shoulders and knees.
For Men: T-shirts or shirts and long trousers are perfect.
For Women: Loose trousers or long skirts with a t-shirt or a traditional kameez are ideal. A lightweight scarf is also very useful. Comfortable, sturdy walking shoes are a must for everyone.
4. Can I take photographs of people?
Yes, Bangladeshis are generally happy to be photographed. However, it is crucial to be respectful. Your guide will help you bridge the cultural gap. The golden rule is to always ask for permission first, which you can do with a smile and by gesturing towards your camera. Your guide can ask in Bengali for you, which almost always results in a positive interaction. Never take photos of someone who has indicated they do not want to be photographed.
5. What do I need to know about food and water safety?
We take your health very seriously. We will only take you to trusted restaurants and cafes that maintain high standards of hygiene. We recommend you drink only bottled or filtered water, which we will provide for you during the tours. Be adventurous with the food—it’s delicious! Just avoid street food from vendors that don’t look clean.
6. Are your guides professional photographers?
Our guides are a unique blend of expert local guides and passionate photographers. They may not all be full-time professional photographers, but they have a deep understanding of light, composition, and, most importantly, where and when to be for the best photographic opportunities. Their primary role is to be an excellent guide, and their photography knowledge is a huge bonus that will help you get incredible shots.
7. How do I book a tour and what are the payment methods?

Confirm: To confirm your booking, we require a small advance deposit, which can be paid securely via international bank transfer or a credit card payment link. The remaining balance can be paid upon your arrival in Bangladesh.
